SIMPLE TEAM MANAGER OUTLINE

Being a Team Manager can be an exhilarating experience, but as with anything new, the first year is going to be the toughest. We will try to help you in any way possible to make this experience as easy as possible, so please don't be afraid to ask questions of your school coordinator, the Regional Director, or this website administrator. You will go through many feelings and experiences in this program: you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll feel like pulling out your hair, you'll discipline, etc. etc., but the kids and the program will start to grow on you. Your team becomes your family. Your job is to nurture that family into becoming the best it can be. But as with a toddler, you can't walk for them, you can only guide them and let them take their own steps to creatively solve the Challenge as presented. Below is a simple calendar outline that should serve as guide.

FUND RAISING IDEAS
Fund Raising can be considered in two phases, 1) for a general DI program, and 2) fund raising for tournament appearances (especially Globals). You'll have to decide which idea is best for your application, but I'll try to give some guidance.

A) Racine Kringles has an opportunity for fund raising. Our school district worked this for many years. Great right before the holidays. Great Wisconsin connection.
