South Central Regional & Blackhawk Regional Teams At Globals

A wonderful time was had by all participants at Knoxville Tennessee this year. From the competitions to the beach ball extravaganza at closing ceremonies, it was quite a ride.

Our Middleton High School Team took 1st place in the secondary level of Di-BOT. WOO-HOO. Congratulations!!!! But the other teams have nothing to hang their head about, they all performed in the upper level of their respective Challenges. The Beloit High School team finished a very respectable 12th after an unfortunate technical problem in the Direct Deposit Challenge. And the Lake Geneva team also did well with a 17th place in the same Challenge.

The three teams from Sacred Hearts School in Sun Prairie must be beaming with a 4th place finish in Middle Level Do or DI, and a 5th and a 6th place finish in the Elementary Do or DI Challenge. I don't think that can be matched by any individual school anywhere. GREAT JOB!!!!

And lastly, the Middle Level Middleton-Cross Plains team received a GOOD grade in the Project Outreach Challenge. Thank you to the Team Managers, and the School Coordinators, and the Parents that gave their valuable time for these teams to be successful. And thank you to the volunteer Appraisers and Helpers from our region that helped out at the Global Finals. Destination Imagination cannot be a successful organization for helping kids reach their creative zenith without all your help.   • 2010 Regional TOURNAMENT

    It was a great tournament this year. The teams were absolutely wonderful. The volunteers were marvelous. And a good time was had by all, although some of us are in recovery mode today.

    If you're looking for results just click the link to the right. Both Carol and Jerry, the Regional Directors, want to thank all the volunteers that came and helped with the tournament. Without your dedication, this tournament could not have worked. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.

    And, CONGRATULATIONS to all the Teams, and Team Managers and Coordinators. Some of the teams are moving on to the State Tournament in Stevens Point on April 17th. But I can personally say that these teams did not have it easy. The Appraisers had some tough choices to make, and as always there were a few surprises, again Instant Challenge decided some State teams.

    Team managers, especially those whose teams didn't make it to state, this is a great opportunity for you. You can now join us at State as Appraisers. Oh, I know you're rolling your eyes, but it's a great opportunity to see the competition from the other side of the aisle.
